Anyone familiar with or use a camper cover on their camper to keep the elements off the camper. Rain, leaves, pollen etc.I am paying $75.00 a month for covered storage and was thinking about some sort of a cover so I could park it in my driveway and get away from the payments.ThanksJohn

I bought a Calmark cover right after I got my TC but I didnt use it much. It allowed alot of the water (only water resistant) to get thru and puddle up under the cabover. It was good material and OK for the suns rays, but I knew I wanted something better. Ended up putting up a metal carport. If you buy the common covers like you get at CW, dont expect much more than 2-3 years out of one.

I watched a gentleman and his wife try to put their RV cover on their 30' MH one afternoon...in calm wind. That was all I needed to see to totally convince me I'll never own an RV cover.Happy camping!!! See y'all down the road!!!:)

A garage or carport is best. A cover is better than nothing.I cover our 37' Southwind in the winter, I install the cover myself.The cover has lasted about 5 or 6 Pennsylvania winters, I don't remember what year I bought it. I'll get at least another winter When this one is no longer useable, I'll buy another cover.

DON'T get an Aquashed... They're anything BUT a waterproof cover. I bought 2 - one for my toyhauler, one for my TC. $450 and $300 respectively. Both were worthless in the Pacific NW for rain. When I called in utter dissappointment, they stated "oh, they're supposed to breath", and I said, "Like a fish? There's more water under the cover running down the side of my camper than there is down the outside of the cover". They hung up.I've since sold the toyhauler, and I'm finally building a pole/beam/trussed 26x24 carport for my TC and (possibly) new boat. If I don't get the new boat I'm looking at, then there's room for Sleepy's new covered parking spot.

We use the ADCO covers for both our TC and our Airstream...have used them for many years.They are a significant help in keeping them clean.The TC takes about 5 min to cover...stand on the roof and pull it over the front.The Airstream takes a bit longer...maybe 1/2 hr, as I need a ladder.We only use them when we won't be using the camper for a while, like right now. The TC will be covered Nov-Jan, then in Feb I will uncover and start using the TC for skiing. The AS stays covered Nov-June...we only use the AS in the summer.Best option would be a pole barn/carport...our backyard is sheltered from wind, but does have a LOT of trees. So the covers are great for sap, dirt, etc.One of these days I will build a bigger barn to fit everything inside...for now, the covers are fine.Bill
