CAMPER NOT SITTING LEVEL

LAST NIGHT I REELIZED MY CAMPER DOES NOT SIT IN THE BED OF THE TRUCK LEVEL FRONT TO BACK IT SITS UP IN THE FRONT ABOUT 2" IS THIS NORMAL?

  • B GAGE, I think you are correct. I had it reversed.

  • My 2003 Dodge bed rails are about 1" higher at the rear of the bed which makes the camper look like it's higher in the front.
  • Now you know. I don't recall what year the manufactures started this, but I think it is true with all trucks with pick up boxes.
  • So, you are aware the bed rails are higher in the front than the rear?

  • Did you make that assertion using a level or the gap between the bottom of the camper and the truck bed rails?
