I thought this thread was dead too. If you are spry enough to travel in a TC, go for it. Jeanie and I did a 32 day, 9000 mile round trip to AK in 2003, going up thru Vancouver Is./across to B.C. on the ferry to Prince Rupert/up the Cassiar Hwy to AK/up way past the Arctic Circle and returned on at least 2500 miles of gravel roads, and never got a motel. We boondocked in out-of-the-way places most of the time, staying at some very nice campgrounds with plug ins too. Living in British Columbia; finally hearing of your camping style, and you both enjoying boondocking, I would think a large, 4 season TC would be king.
