Camper storage

I'm sure this subject has been beaten to death
But here goes.I don't have anything to set my camper on and I'm always trying to save money when possible. I was going to buy somemetal stands but they were pricy.I'm wondering if cinder blocks put on each corner with a 2x8 on top would be good enough?
  • I use cinder blocks as well with 2x4s on top. We also run our jacks down to the point where they are taking some of the load, more to stabilize against the high winds in Colorado than anything else.

    Cheers, Henrik
  • Just make sure the holes in the blocks are facing up
They aren't very strong on their sides
  • I use four cinder blocks, four 6x6 cut offs and two 4x4 to brace The camper for storage for storage. I lift the jacks to keep the ants out... No problem. Lowers it down on the cradle, it's fine. And cheap.
