Campgrounds on the Mississippi Gulf Coast
Can anyone recommend a campground on the Mississippi Gulf coast, on or near the beach, for January & February? And what temperature would you expect those months?

x2 on Buccaneer. It was rebuilt after the hurricane. Nice roads, sites and facilities. The laundry and store building have elevators and are very nice. The kids pool is nice and there is a water park set up nearer the gulf. We camped near the gulf in the open area which cost more. There is water and electric out there but you have to use the dump station. You have to walk across the highway to get to the beach. Traffic noise wasn't a problem but the noseeums were. Maybe they just love northern meat.
