Campgrounds on the Mississippi Gulf Coast
Can anyone recommend a campground on the Mississippi Gulf coast, on or near the beach, for January & February? And what temperature would you expect those months?

I've been to the beach in Destin in February and it was cold and windy; didn't even want to walk from parking to the water. Sunny & 65 is nice but not water sports weather in my book. If you want warm & to enjoy a beach, go to the southern half of the Florida peninsula. Or abandon the beach and head to the desert SW for warmth and less rain. Just one man's opinion.
