Like others have said, test the connector to see if it still supplies power with the truck off. But even if does then you still probably leave the 7 pin connect for the overnight stay. After running the furnace all night in pretty cold temperatures, I've just barely have drained my trailer battery to empty by morning. We always carry the generator with us, so we always have a backup if we need it.
Walmarts can be hit or miss. Sometimes you can get a quiet one, sometimes you get one that busy until 2 am. Some of them are in shopping centers which keeps the parking lot really busy. My favorite is Lowe's. They're closed at 9 pm (8 pm on Sundays), but the parking lot is mostly empty of customers by 8 pm. Their parking lots are well lit, but the intensity never seems to be as high as other lots so it doesn't feel like the sun is shining through your shades lol. We can spend a night there without a single peep from outside.
