I'm in Near North Ontario and see about the same snowy conditions as you do and fully agree. The same non-winter drivers can also be seen in the middle of July with snowboards on the roof LOL and Florida (or similar) license plates.
For both of these posters, and any one else that wants to chime in......
If as a beginner, and one wants to learn, but everyone says do not do it until you eshave experience, how will one get experience if you offer this kind of baloney sandwich advice?

I was probably pretty funny looking back in my teen years first driving in snow too, late 20's with a trailer towing in snow....now in my 50's, not going to say I do this blindfolded.....but at least some, hopefully myself included, gave a how we tow in the snow! Besides, as I noted earlier, I have seen as many as 150-200 rvs of ALL shapes and sizes at some of the ski areas here in the NW that I have been to!
