Camping Lingo in different parts of the country

I tend to say "trailer" instead of "motorhome" simply because it's easier to say "trailer". This annoys my DH who is over the top precise sometimes. ;)
the word "camper" is, imo, a good word that covers everything but tents..for that you have to say tent camper to be clear about your kind of camping.
on this forum, I sometimes have a hard time figuring out what kind of rig the person is talking about, but it's not something I lose sleep over. :)
