Camping Lingo in different parts of the country

Last May when my wife and I took our TT to Minnesota we met with some friends and one of them said to me, "So, I hear you brought your camper." My response was: "No...we have a travel trailer." ...

We use "camper" as truck camper. "Tent trailer" is used instead of pop-up and "5er" is not used for a fifth wheeler. But Yanks are a lot easier to translate than Aussies. Eskies was the common camping item I had a hard time figuring out.
