The more I travel the more I think NP campgrounds need more rules not less. Was there a reason not to book 2 sites for two different camp vehicles?
Just to make it clear. We weren't trying to save $22 a night by filling up the site to capacity. Lodgepole campround is very popular and was completely sold out. Dorst campround nearby is still closed and Stony creek was also full. Our friends just purchased the truck camper 2 weeks ago.
The other interesting thing is the rules on the site state "no tents allowed" but does not mention only 1 rv allowed. The site next to us was an RV site with 2 vehicles and 3 tents. So it looks like there is no rule and up to the Rangers Discretion. Even the rules they do have they don't have to abide by. I guess thats my beef, people in higher authority making up their own rules.
