Camping trip breakdowns????
Own a 2012 f350 diesel and love the truck. However, last week check engine light came on and took to dealer and they did not really find a solid reason. Can,t remember code. Loose wire with corrosion....

Dealer did a manual regen to check for faults and found two problems.
Grounds needed to be cleaned up on wire connections somewhere and EGT sensor 14 fault and was replaced.
I agree that this was missed last week when in for light on.
Hope this is only issue.
Dame these newer diesels are so impressive in the torque ,towing, yet so picky!!!!
Looking forward to Saturday departure and burning some better quality fuel in the USA!!!!
Will drive some prior to make sure all is well. Dealer put 40 kilometers on the test drive.

Glad the dealer dug a little deeper to get the symptoms to show up again. Should make the trip a little more relaxing. :)
