One of those crazy ski people. Have a old 8ft hard side camper. In fact just getting stuff together to build a new hard side for skiing. Have had a camper out in -40c. Had foam in the windows, the stuff you sleep on when back packing. We also had foam in the vents to keep heat in. A electric heater as well as the gravity furnace running. Only a few days at a time.It was about 18c degrees inside.Frost lines in the corners of the camper. It had 3/4 inch foam in the walls and single glazed windows. Was decent at -25.We use water jug and washrooms at ski hill in the lodge. Some people would think its crazy but its quite social in the winter on the hill with campfires with friends etc. I just plain like being up there at night and waking up on the hill for first tracks. I have a place to stay 1/2 hr away but like the TC better.
Have worked out of my trailer for years but never in real cold.A few das at a time is plenty as the camper shrinks fast. For one maybe with 2 you better get along real well.
