Camping World Online ordering

I ordered a shower head from camping world online 12 days ago and they have not shipped it yet. I noticed they charged my credit card twice for the transaction so I called customer service to get that straight. I was on hold for 35 minutes. Keep in mind the CEO of this company has a TV show telling other business's how to run their company. Maybe someone needs to show him how to run his. I called yesterday after a 45 minute hold and they said it was sitting there for 3 days waiting for UPS to pick up. They still would not tell me when the item would be shipped. What a joke. I won't be ordering from them again. Anyone else have experience ordering online from them?

    I have seen numerous posts in the CW accessories forum here with the same complaint. They seem to have a major system issue and their customers are not happy with the hold times to customer service. Most of the problems seem to occur when the customer orders multiple items and one of those is on back order then CW hold the entire order and doesn't notify the customer. It also appears those posts get deleted after a few days.

    I also ordered from camping world and have not received the item even though my credit card was charged. Seems like any thing involving good sams is incompetent.

    That's why hardly nobody on this forum orders from Camping World.

    I order most everything from e-Bay. Amazon charges sales tax now (in Florida anyway) but e-Bay doesn't. I've found better prices than CW as well.

    If I need something from CW I usually just go in, since it is local to me, and since I have heard of stories similar to this.

    I unfortunately ordered something from them on eBay, and it turned out to be out of stock! Last I checked, you don't sell items on an auction site (and charge the customer's card) when you don't have the items in stock. This was over 2 weeks ago, and I still receive daily emails saying it is out of stock.

    And really the only reason I ordered from them is because the shipping on the item I ordered was significantly cheaper than other online sites, or the other sites were out of stock.

    AMAZON is my friend!!!!!!

    If Camping World has it - so does Amazon and most likely a heck of a lot cheaper!
