I would do it, but use caution/common sense, as to towing speed and traffic conditions. Your receiver should give a dead wt for hitch capability. You may be close, or over a bit, and that tongue weight may be higher than brochure states. If windy, may cause a little sway, so be aware. You are not the first to do what you are planning!
