CAn a jump starter power an trailer slide out?

We used one on a buddies camper (TH) when we were troubleshooting one of his slides. One wouldn't retract in for the ride home. So we disconnected at the slide motor, hooked the leads an in it came. Turns out there was a hidden fuse behind a panel not shown on the trailer schematics
