When our fifth wheel got a 1" x 2" puncture on its front end, I first got quotes for repairs. $2,000! They wanted to take the front end apart from the inside to patch the hole on the nose, which included removing cabinetry.
Instead, I purchased this Marine Tex epoxy, cut the hole smooth, sanded the gelcoat gently, then patched with this epoxy. After it had hardened, I sanded it smooth. Five years later and the patch looks like new still. It has retained its quality.
