Milwaukee Storm Water Pollution - pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
Dumping it is illegal. Do enjoy your stay at the crowbar hotel. - Tim_WExplorer

- azdryheatExplorerEveryone's saying it's illegal but does anyone have an actual law the the OP could reference for his particular location?
- TerryallanExplorer IINo you can't run grey water into a storm drain. Although it would be no worse than the oil, antifreeze, paint, animal droppings, road kill, and other pollutants washed off of the road, and into the drain
However. I wonder how many "Country" folks here, Unknowingly have their grey water. That water from the washer, sink, and shower, Running down hill away from the house, thru a pipe with holes in it, and into a field way out back????? I bet more than you think. Many do this to avoid filling the septic tank. After all. It's only soapy water. - westendExplorer

And the residue from your black tank dumping if it comes out of a common drain? Don't even try to get close to the idea that it's Ok to do this. :R
Just gray water? Full of basic natural substances with a little mild cleaning stuff mixed in (hand and dish soap)...Think about what washes into a storm drain -- automotive chemicals and all forms of plant and animal matter along with soap from people washing cars...you decide....not saying it's legal, but I am saying some common sense can answer the question. - ravExplorer

your not serious are you- please tell me your just a "troll" on this subject:h - toolman1ExplorerX3 here in SoCal. Our roadside drains flow directly to the sea. Try it, and a date in the "Greybar Hotel" will likely be in you're future.
- skipncharExplorerYET we got many forum members who will advocate dumping gray water at their campsite in an organized campground. Kind of hard to figure :H
