Don't see myself ever going across county with a trailer. I'll upgrade to an RV before I do that! I also looked at the items I normally would take and figured my truck fully loaded will be right at 6400 lbs. With the 268rks with my load would be about 7100 max. Staying on flat land at 1.5hrs max will be all I do with this rig. Largest hill will be an overpass. I decided on the 268rks since it doesn't have that extra slide on the 'leisure' side of the camper and it's a bit lighter and a bit cheaper. Thought it is 34ft long vs the 33ft 288.
