Setup properly I think it would be fine. Yes, that means a professionally installed WDH. I've seen several Lambda platform SUVs towing trailers in that size range, and over mountains. They appeared to be doing just fine.
That said we're missing some very important information. How many people in the vehicle, and how much "stuff" will travel with you in the vehicle?
You also need to know the GCWR and the payload. The GCWR can be found in the towing chart in your owners manual. GCWR is the total your trailer and Traverse can weigh when packed and ready for camping. From what I understand yours will be somewhere around 9500#. Your Traverse weighs about 4720#. That leave 4750# for a trailer, people in the car, and "stuff". Not a lot of room left.
Your payload can be found on a sticker in the driver door. Your ready to tow payload will include the tongue weight of the trailer, people in the vehicle, and your "stuff" in the vehicle. Subtract the weight of those things combined from the number on the sticker.
I have knowingly towed close my limits with 2 separate combos. It was setup right, we were safe, but limited in that we had to stick to short trips (4-5 hours or less), and no mountains or really hilly terrain.
