5.7L and 7.4L/8.1L engines were used through 2002. The 2003 update also resulted in the the updated powertrains (i.e. introduction of the 4.8/5.3/6.0 engines). Only the 4.3L was carried over and at some point that went away too.
What if I have the higher ratio gear ? 370 and up? Would that make a difference ? I do not know what I have off hand.
