I am thinking that with a full tank it will not condensate inside the tank like it would if it was empty.

This is what I do every fall before we go to Florida for the winter. I also put the recommended amount of
Sta-Bil in the tank and make sure the engine has run enough to get it into the fuel lines and injectors. Then put the car on the Battery Tender and leave it there for the duration. Have never had a single problem in over 20 years. I think you are correct in the condensation thinking.
