Can we go camping yet?

My 2yr old asked last week if we could go camping. Being Utah I said not quiet yet. But I am ready to go. I alsways hate putting up the trailer after the hunts and loof forward to the Spring when it is time to get it back out. I know I can go down south but it is kinda far for just weekend trips I feel at this time.

That being said we have alread got a trip planned with friends for the end of March.

    If your camper is not in storage, why not do a week-end camp in your driveway? You can do everything except run water. Now, if you're in storage ... maybe the owners of the storage lot would let you sleep in the camper over night. You can tell them you'll be their "one time security guard!" (Hey, it's just a thought and you never know what might happen if you don't ask?)

    We make reservations for summer in winter prior, so all summer vacation plans happen when we are stuck inside @ -15degF. Kids don't quite understand they have to wait 6 months.

    I am already getting the ich. I just booked a vacation for Myter Beach in May, but already looking for a decent weekend we can go soon. Most likely won't be till March. But you never know here in VA the weather changes so quick we may be able to sneak in a weekend trip.

    My countdown app says 99 days until seasonal camping starts, sooner for driveway camping.

    I had the same thoughts yesterday. Its going to be 70 degrees in Northern California through January 25. Need the rain however the weather is permitting.
