I was a big fan of the 2nd gen Lightning. Loved the sound of the roots blower at WOT, and 380hp / 450 torque was enough for high 13 second 1/4 mile runs. On top of it all the truck could handle on a road course decently for full size truck.
Wouldn't tow my camper, but a ball peen hammer won't drive a railroad spike either, but doesn't mean it doesn't have its use...right tool for the job and all that.
I say the more choices we have the better.
