You don't see any Class 8 diesel trucks with anything but an inline 6 today. Last V8 diesel I can recollect was the Mack V8 and that was 20 years ago, easier to service and work on and Cummins has a huge share of the market with their ISX C engines. Says something for the engine design and the company.
