Can't post question

Note that this should really be posted in Forum Technical Support, which is specifically for questions and testing relating to the forum software. Also, avoid posting duplicate threads.

There are some character issues (i.e. %) involving RV.NET forum portal which will cause a thread or post to fail, with the connection reset message. Try using an alternative portal such as Woodalls.com. A complete list of forum portals available here. Same sign-in/password.

I think the quick reply has a character limit. Have you tried the advanced post box?

I just tried again and got the message: The connection was reset.

I then tried pasting it to this reply and got the connection reset message.

The text is partially copied from another question I had earlier. Is there some reason that that would cause it to get kicked out?

I've tried numerous times over three days. I don't know what is different about my question than this thread.

I don't think there's a character limit. I've posted some really long manuscripts in the past.

The site sometimes has a glitch that will let your post request sit in la-la land forever, then finally kick it out. Try again a few minutes later, it usually works.

Not to my knowledge.
