Posts go away for a variety of reasons, offensive language, threats will always get you booted for starters. If its your thread titled thor huricane no start, its still around.

For anyone who hasn't seen this yet. here are the reasons that posts disappear "for no reason"

Rules & Policies

These forums are for members to members only. Commercial enterprises and/or their representatives are not allowed to post in these forums

#1. You are not allowed to post the same message in multiple forums without permission from one of the Open Roads Forum moderators.

#2. The use of profanity is not allowed. An "integrated watchdog" will monitor your post and attempt to expunge objectionable language

#3. "Flaming" of other participants is strictly forbidden. Professional conduct is a primary requirement for participation on the Open Roads Forum.

#4. Spamming, in any form, is strictly forbidden.

#5. You may not use the Open Roads Forum to either advertise or promote commercial endeavors. This includes direct posts, member name, URLS in your profile or signature, as well as, active links to other sites on the Internet.

#6. You may include URLs or active links to commercial sites for the purpose of expanding on comments or providing additional information as part of regular forum interactions.

#7. You may not use the Open Roads Forum for "For Sale" or "Wanted" posts.

#8. Posts are not allowed in which a local or state consumer action board and/or legal consul is/have been involved. This includes posts related to future, ongoing or past lawsuits.

#9. Political and religious posts, pictures, links, signatures etc. are not allowed in these forums and will be removed without notice or discussion.

In particular, I find #3 is the most mis-understood. Professional conduct means if you wouldn't say something to someone at work, do not put it here. It has nothing to do with hurting anyone's feelings, snowflake or not. It has to do with common courtesy.

Mike, I didn't see your post so I am not addressing this directly to you. I can tell you however that I looked at the deleted post for this month and there are none of your posts in there. You have a total of 3 active posts, this one and 2 in the Thor no start thread.

Snowflake is a political term you may want to avoid unless you want more of your posts to be edited or disappear.
