Do you actually ever tow anything with that race truck because that light weight camper in you siggy won't tell you anything. There are 1/2 ton gas trucks on the road now that would "smoke" that Powerhope pulling it.
The torque that is available at the speed you want to run is what's going to determine how easily the truck is going to tow. There are going to be a lot of things that determine how two trucks are going to perform when there is only 20-30 hp difference between them. Just how a trailer is loaded or the angle it sits will make a difference in how fast it can be pulled even if the same weight is used.
When are we going to grow up? The country is falling apart and people are chasing a cartoon on cell phones and racing up hills pulling trailers of different sizes and weights pounding on their chests because that have the fastest truck that time.:S
