Cargo carrier and tongue weight reduction??????

Thanks for the replies. I will check for any rocking or looseness at the receiver. Getting a tongue scale might be a good idea...I'll have to do a little research. The carrier is only 50" X 20" so it won't extend that far in back of the trailer.
