Tundra Tower...thanks for the reply. Yes, my trailer is a double axle. I'm thinking about using the carrier for my blue tote and possibly two folding bikes and these items have been carried in the truck bed. If I leave the bikes in the truck, I may put a lightweight tool box on the carrier and use it for Anderson levelers, wheel chocks, and miscellaneous stuff for hitching up and hooking up the trailer. I tend to think that whatever I do, the weight won't be a problem, but if I detect any problem, I'll make needed corrections.
