We also use a 6x10 enclosed trailer to haul our 650cc scooter and A LOT of other stuff. For us, the trailer makes the TC more "full Timer" possible, something we are looking at when we retire (for us Full Timing = 6 months straight in TC). Also, they make some trailers for off road use, so you might want to search for those online.
About not seeing the narrower trailer when backing up.... just install two short plastic rods horizontally out from the tire wells (one on each side). The rods should extend just beyond the width of your TC so you can see them in your mirrors.
