Like turtle and peeps said, I bought a replacement tire and now use it as a spare when I bought 4 new tires.
My old TT tires were the factory installed and were 7 years old when one picked up a nail. I bought a spare to get home on and it had about 3000 miles on it when I bought four new ones and it became the spare.
