Do not use a cable lock or cheap padlock. It only takes seconds for a thief with bolt cutter to walk away with your bike. I speak from being one of ten riders that had bikes stolen in a campground in one night (it was locked to my TC). Buy a heavy duty motorcycle chain and lock set up (square links no exposed lock shackle).
