carrying weight on rear bumper to offset tounge weight.

Through all of my searching I've found some trailers with good dry weight but kinda heavy on the tounge. I do want to carry tools and stuff with me and have a few other ideas that I want to do that wi...

Keep in mind that for a trailer to be stable going down the road you will probably need the TW to be 12-15% of the total TT weight... So as long as it stays stable for you then you can go as light in the tongue as you want I guess. Please keep it off the "bumper" though. Seeing when attaching stuff back there does to it is a bit scary.
