Cass Hudson Dream Dinette

I bought a used one and wanted to install it on my TT. I couldn't. The wheel well is under the dinette and there was not enough room in there to make it work. Too bad it looks like a wonderful idea and I wish more manufactures would figure out a way to use it.

There should be some framing below the window and at the floor. You could always attach a piece of plywood from under the window to the floor and use it as backing. Most windows at the dinette are fairly wide so there should also be couple vertical studs under it. With any luck you could also attach the backing to a stud along with the floor and sill framing.

Nope, had Jayco send me the drawings and there is nothing to attach anything to. Just styrofoam behind the wall. Think I am out of luck. Dont want to have someone lean on the table and have it rip out of the wall.

Well, #1 You could use some 2x2's build a frame and then cover it with plywood. Then secure this to the floor and attach your dinette to that. But, it would cut out room and look ugly. You maybe could cover it with paneling.

What I'm trying to say since I don't explain my self very well is to build second a mini wall from the floor up to the bottom of the window. Sorry if you don't understand me.

#2 Maybe you could remove the paneling from inside the TT and then add support behind it then replace the paneling???

I sure wish I could make one of these work in my TT. Taking the two table supports out and then putting them back the next morning while lining everything back up is a pain in the you know what.

That is something to think about for sure. Might be able to figure out how to attach a mini wall to the bench.
