Having owned six RVs with regular toilets and black tanks in the past, I much prefer the cassette toilet that's in my new Northstar Laredo. The benefits of having a cassette toilet are numerous:
1. Dump in any toilet
2. Don't have to pay to dump anymore
3. Don't need to move your camper to dump
4. No need for a stinky slinky
5. No more residual black tank stench in my camper in between trips
6. Easy to clean and you know when it's full (mine has an red indicator light and you can look inside easily to see if it's full)
7. The cassette has its own 1 gallon "fresh water" tank (you can put any kind of water in this including lake or river water, fresh water from your camper, or even gray water).
8. The 45 lb cassette is very easy to transport. Mine has wheels and a pull handle. Transports like a rolling suitcase.
