Seems odd that truck and trailer tires would blow out at the same time unless you ran over something... Then, it wasn't because your tires were overloaded... It was because you ran over something.
Even so, your tires really weren't that egregiously overloaded.

You were at 7040, just 210lbs overweight on the rear axle.
I'm just not buying that little bit caused a blowout unless the tires were underinflated, totally worn out, or again, you hit something.
I lost the trailer tire 2 wks. ago and the truck tire last wk. 
The trailer tires had less then 1,000 miles on them 50psi., and the truck tires had 18,000 on them 80psi. I check pressure before i hit road everytime. Both trips were to the same place (hunting grounds) Phoenix,Az. to Bellemont,Az. where I weighed the truck and trailer at the Pilot truck stop.
