Monday morning update: I find it interesting that the seller never called back.
Putting myself in his shoes, if I were selling a truck, got a voicemail from the potential buyer about odo rollback, and knew there was no rollback, I'd have made a call saying "that Carfax is jacked."
Now, "maybe" he just chose not to bother...or maybe there was something to it and he's moving on to the next buyer who may not run a Carfax.
