Old news.
Chrysler is always losing money. Fiat bought a lame duck from Mercedes.
Honestly, that's the biggest thing holding me back from buying a Ram with a Cummins.
All of the Chrysler products we have ever owned never lasted, or had major problems well before 120k miles were up. Pieces of crap.
My '89 Plymouth Grand Voyager had 240K miles when I sold it. Although, it did need regular infusions of cash (alternator and fuel pump would go out like clockwork every x thousand miles).
Too bad they can't get Toyota or Hyundai or Honda to take over the Jeep brand. Quality surely would improve. I certainly would like to see the brand live on. No one else makes anything like a Wrangler. Even the Grand Cherokee is pretty unique... full time 4WD, low range available, skid plates, raisable air suspension, yet a comfortable and controlled ride on the highway.
