You can't survive on the highest incentives in the industry and the lowest margins either. Sergio thought he could "Fix" Chrysler. They are the last in a long line of people that have tried.
Stick a fork in them, they are done!
There have been pluses and minuses to the Fiat merger. I think the biggest problem is Marchionne. He appears to not give a @#$@# about Chrysler production or it's impact on local and national economies.
If he could Italianize all of Chrysler, he'd do it.
GM isn't exactly a "cash cow" that can take on Chrysler's production and underbelly of facilities related to auto and truck production.
