change a valve?

Anyone change out the valves on your propane tanks from the old ones to the new ones that are required to get them filled? If so how hard of a job was it? I'd like to keep these 7 gallon tanks that I have and just swap out the valves if it's an easy job....

    It can be done. Here's a link to a site with a little more info. It runs about $25.00 for the valve, and about $34.00 for the tool. Then, the tank will have to be recertified. Even with the new OPD valve, if the tank is over 10 years old, it will have to be recertified in order for a propane dealer to be able to refill it.
