OIL CHANGE
Probably should have asked for some member reviews, before I bought, but anyway I received one of these today.... OIL DRAIN PAN
along with one of these... FILTER, so it looks like I'll be changing my own oil, as I always have done in the past.
Storing the beast, isn't going to be the problem, I thought it would be and for now, it's under the rig and ready to go.
I kept telling myself, that I would just hire this out, with such a big crankcase to contend with, so called around a month ago and here's an example with calling Camping World. They want over $400 and are booked through Dec. and even at 25 miles, it'll take about 8 gallons of fuel for getting there and back. Then there's the hassle of it all. I've already bought a $20 pneumatic grease gun and did the lube, which was easy enough, so why stop now?
I mean I'd like letting someone else work on my rig once in a while, but they just won't let me or at least to my satisfaction.
Even with the purchase, I'm ahead and way ahead for next time and thereafter. Time wise will be about the same or less, so it's sounding like a no brainer so far, but then I haven't been there and done that, as yet.
Oh yeah, I failed to ask about fuel filter changes and will be doing that along with it. I have them on board already and expect to always have those for spares, regardless.
