Why not just cruise Craigslist or eBay for a good used one? The initial depreciation on any camper is huge so you could pick up a nicely optioned one for a reasonable price. These trailers should change hands quite requently since many use them for a short while then decide they want to move up to a TT or get out of camping altogether.
You can check with a dealer to see what is the least expensive version with the fewest options, but you won't be able to buy just an empty shell.
