My friend who has a trailer that he tows with an Explorer knows a guy who installs towing packages really cheap, it's not a dealer, it's just a guy who has a mechanic shop who does that stuff too, he installed his for $500, brake wiring and all. I have checked before and the sticker on my door says 3500 pounds (once the towing package is added). But that is the first thing i'm going to do when i'm home in August is get that taken care of.
