I have towed travel trailers for well over 20 years and the setup I have is correct so I am beginning to think it is just the characteristics of the travel trailer we bought. May add a second sway control to the setup and see if that will take out the additional way I have with this unit. Then just get a little stiffer tire on the TT when we return from our trip out west. Those should be fairly stiff tires. I'd look elsewhere like you've identified to help with sway. Plus you'd have to go taller to get heavier tires and idk if much bigger than that will fit under a 1500gm in front without rubbing.
