That's my point too. I can replace the entire drive train on my truck for less than the interest most will pay on financed vehicles. If you have deep pockets and can pay cash for a nice truck, that's the way to go. I don't.
I can replace with a larger engine, beefier transmission and 4.10 posi-trac running gear for less than $5k, or about the equivalent of 6 truck payments on a newer truck.
