Yes you need a controller. For that panel a 10 amp controller is fine. I have a preference to Morningstar that would be about $50. You can certainly spend less and they work fine also.
If the truck battery is isolated you will need something like Trik-L-Start combiner to jump power to the truck batteries in storage. Another $50 to be fully automatic. Or you could jump with an added wire and switch. If not isolated.... the 100w will easily maintain all batteries when not in use.
There are also some dual battery controllers that might work for you with just a bit more wiring.
