HMS Beagle, great prices on the solar. The question is can Blanco1 instal one of them. I think he can. The next thought I have and in my experience is it is very common to have very poor performance from solar when it is real cold, due to overcast. I am still partial to the Wave3 if it is a one or the other situation.
With one 100 AH AGM and the Wave3, I do not run short on AHs. Without the Wave3, I think I would have to add a second battery which would cost close to the same as the Wave3.
