Chaulk
For a girl, I normally can lay a mean bead of chaulk.. Have I lost my touch with age or is RV chaulk tougher to use. I'm using ProFlex

Latex caulk is simple, forgiving, and not what you would want on an RV exterior. You are using the right stuff. Be sure to fully remove any old silicone caulk before you apply the new.

I know this stuff sticks to fingers like crazy! I was one big gob of goo the other day.
What solvent should I use for smoothing it out? I've just been using water.
