Anyone use flex seal?

I'm sure you can buy Flex Seal at a as seen on tv store or online. I don't think it's the replacement of caulk though and not a foam filler. Are you sure they didn't say Eternabond WebSeal?

Pictures for what you are wanting to "fix" would help.

They wrote Flex Seal. I've heard of what you are referring to and that's why I'm asking the question because it seemed odd to me. I need to caulk around the door frames of propane tanks and rear storage. When I was inspecting the caulking I noticed it had a yellowish tint and feel that reminded me of Great Stuff. Thanks.

I think a normal caulk like Pro-Flex is what you want. It comes in different colors.

FLex Seal comes in a spray can. I can't imagine they'd use that around seams and trim pieces. That just sounds weird.

You won't find a professional using that. Just stop in at an rv dealer and find out what's good. They do repairs all the time.

Definitely go with and they probably used pro flex. You can get it at just about any rv parts department.

Don't use that cr ap. If you need to re caulk anything on the sides, scrape out the old caulk unless it's not in the way of new. Clean it up good, get all the old off the surfaces with a razor knife and wipe it down with solvent to clean it up, like lacquer thinner.
Use a good urethane caulk, not silicone. Like Sika flex or dicor? Whatever the rv shop Reccomends. You're not going to find what you need at the Homie Depot.
Use the smallest bead possible. Takes a little skill to caulk well and it shouldnt include using your finger as a putty knife everywhere.
Oh and don't use flex seal as seen on tv!

That Flex Seal peels off after awhile. I used it on my roof as suggested and it lasted a whole 2 weeks. They DO make tubes of it.

OP: What is a Host Camper?

Flex Seal is great for a temporary patch (we used it on our roof between rain storms to stop a leak until we could do a real patch) but I wouldn't rely on it for a permanent fix. You can pick it up at Home Depot, Ace's, Walmart, etc.

Flex Seal did a great job of stopping the leaks in our sunroom roof at our condo - but for an RV, I'll bet the person meant "Pro Flex"?? Flex Seal spray goes in a pretty wide pattern
